More Facecrash: George W. Bush Delivers his Last State of the Union Speech

Facecrash; George W. Bush Delivers his Last State of the Union Speech

I tried to watch the State of the Union Address last night, but was hampered not only by the bad digital hi-def reception you see in these pics but by the nauseating spectacle itself.

If anyone doubts that the U.S. has gone into some weird 21st Cent. territory the State of the Union ritual should convince you.

It’s some sort of bizarre ‘Emperor has no clothes’ show where apparently people are required to cheer the potentate even if they despise him. I mean Nancy Pelosi standing up and saying ‘it’s an honour and a privilege to introduce…’.

What the hell. OK, that’s enough ranting for now. Think I’ll print out the pic below and put it up on the wall - it’s like there’s some sort of virtual fire in the Capitol.Facecrash; George W. Bush Delivers his Last State of the Union Speech
